The flight was great and we made it from the entry waypoint METSA to the Runway with no procedure turn..
We told our passengers that the angle of descent would be dramatic...and yes it was at more than 3500 feet a minute directly towards terrain, but John greased the plane on the runway

The L1011 has been here since we started the Around the World Journey back in 2008 and in the nose gear you can see our annual stickers
I have been here 3 times in the past 9 months...in the Mustang....more time that I have taken the Mustang to the Bahamas.....
