To Ibiza, Isla Blanca

Good organisation in London and very fast service at the Landmark Luton Airport FBO. Very good service and attention.

After reviewing the weather, we are in for some adventure, we have more than 100 kts of wind forecast on our nose all the way to Ibiza.

For once the forecast was right on the dot and we did get the wind, plus overcast and rain on arrival and we had to activate the anti ice boots during the descent. Plus our runway was change from 24 to 06 so we got the tour of the island on the north side, this depleted our fuel even more. We still mange to land with close to 700 lbs at shut down.

There is 4 of us in the plane, since John's family joined us in London and will be with us until Dubai.

We did say "Stage the luggage for easiness of travel"

A nice dinner at El Olivo for our first night in Ibiza, to give us a glimpse at the old city

The next morning , the weather forecast is giving us a steady strong wind in the afternoon, I went with Alex to the harbor master office to get confirmation, we did and I made the decision to cancel the cruising day.

Very good call, the sea was very rough and the winds about 30 knots and gust.

And a Paella for lunch...we are on for our diet record

This is at one of the round about of Ibiza, a giving hand and the famous Ibiza Hound
The Ibizan Hound is an elegant and agile breed, with an athletic and attractive outline and a ground-covering springy trot. Though graceful in appearance, it has good bone girth and is a rugged/hardy breed. Its large upright ears - a hallmark of the breed - are broad at the base and frame a long and elegant headpiece. The neck is long and lean. It has a unique front assembly with well laid-back shoulders and relatively straight upper arm. Coming in both smooth and wire-coated varieties, their coat is a combination of red and white with the nose, ears, eye rims, and pads of feet being a light tan color. Its eyes are a striking amber color and have an alert and intelligent expression. The Ibizan may range in height, depending on which Standard you follow, from 22 to 29 inches (56 to 74 cm) and weigh from 45 to 65 pounds (20 to 29 kg), males being larger than females. The Ibizan Hound coat can also range from smooth to Wire. wire coats are to be hard and can range from 1-3 inches in length.
