The Amantaka could not have been a better place to celebrate Independence Day
We are treated to a unique music, dance a fashion show orchestrated by Prince Nithakong Somsanith, a shaman and cultural and artistic adviser to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation who informed them about a traditional Baci ceremony. The hotel encourages the education of the guests in traditional Lao culture and hires such cultural advisers to teach the guests on a regular basis in traditional Lao customs and practices.
